As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, having worked as a clinical director for a nonprofit serving families, and having worked as a teacher in the school system, I am especially passionate about supporting adults with ADHD and parents raising children with ADHD. I’ve seen how often people carry shame or feel like they’re “doing life wrong,” when really they just need tools and understanding that fit the way their brains and lives work.

One of my main priorities is making sure you feel genuinely listened to. That means I slow down and try to really understand your experience before jumping into problem-solving. I’ll often reflect back what I’m hearing so we can make sure I’m understanding your experience.

Our work together is a mix of understanding what’s happening emotionally and building practical strategies you can use in your everyday life. Because my approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we’ll often look at patterns—how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact—and then experiment with strategies that can help you feel more balanced and confident.

If you face challenges from ADHD, our work may include working on organization systems, emotional regulation, or ways to reduce overwhelm. For parents, we might explore communication strategies, structure at home, and ways to reduce stress while supporting your child.

Trust develops over time, and I see it as something we build together. My role is to create a space where you feel safe being honest—even about things that feel messy or confusing. I try to be consistent, transparent, and non-judgmental. I’ll check in regularly about how therapy is feeling for you and whether what we’re doing is helpful.

One thing I sometimes share is that I’m a parent myself and have been married for almost twenty years. These experiences have taught me a lot about flexibility, patience, and how imperfect growth really is. I often say that parenting—and honestly life in general—is less about getting everything right and more about learning, adjusting, and having compassion for ourselves along the way.
