About Foresight

At Foresight Mental Health, every Foresighter is deeply committed to our purpose of improving access to high-quality mental health care. Our team of providers, care coordinators, and support personnel work with dedication and heart to fulfill that purpose.

Foresight Mental Health began as a simple idea shared between two students at the University of California, Berkeley, our co-founders, Doug Hapeman and Matt Milford. They first met in a computer science class in the College of Engineering. After long hours studying together in the campus library, their conversations would often shift from coursework to broader challenges around them. They quickly discovered a shared passion: improving access to mental health care and raising the standard of that care. Those late-night conversations sparked the vision that would become Foresight: a mission-driven, national mental health care company.

Today, we serve communities across multiple states, offering a wide range of psychiatry and therapy services. From the beginning, our mission has been rooted in providing high-quality, affordable care, while building meaningful connections: with our team, with our clients and patients, and within the communities we serve.
