You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to start. Together, we take things one step at a time. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as you work through life’s challenges and move toward meaningful change. As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) with specialized training in, evidence‑based treatment of anxiety disorders, I combine CBT and exposure response interventions to enhance emotional safety, empowerment, and sustainable progress.
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I began my career as a nurse before becoming a marriage and family therapist. This background allows me to approach therapy with both compassion and practicality. I take a collaborative, solution-focused approach while thoughtfully integrating methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, strength-based approaches, psychodynamic work, and mindfulness – always tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals.
At the heart of my work is unconditional acceptance, empathy, and respect. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Therapy is not about being told what to do, it’s about working together to better understand what you’re going through and empowering you to take an active role in your healing.
I often remind clients that each session is theirs. I’m here to listen, guide, and support you as you navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional distress, childhood trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. By building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, my hope is that you leave sessions feeling more grounded, understood, and confident in your ability to move forward.
