I believe in the power of continuous growth—both for myself and for the people I work with. My hope is to support clients on their journey of self-discovery as they work toward greater balance, healing, and fulfillment in their lives. I am especially passionate about working with parents who feel overwhelmed or stretched thin, individuals navigating acculturation challenges, trauma survivors, and those experiencing major life transitions, grief, or loss.
As a child of an immigrant family and a parent to three multicultural, multiracial children, I bring both professional training and lived experience into the therapy space. I understand firsthand the complexities of identity, belonging, and navigating multiple cultural worlds, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood. My lived experience as a BIPOC individual in a multicultural community informs my work and allows me to approach therapy with cultural humility, empathy, and openness.
I work collaboratively with clients, honoring their strengths while supporting them through challenges at a pace that feels safe and meaningful. My clinical approach is grounded in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy, which guide much of my work. Together, we focus on increasing insight, building coping skills, strengthening relationships, and fostering resilience. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment where clients can explore their experiences, reconnect with their values, and move toward lasting change with greater confidence and self-compassion.
