Pronous: She/Her
Therapy Style: Holistic, Non-judgmental, Warm
I have always been that one friend to come to for advice or support and I decided to turn that into a meaningful career. I genuinely care about people’s well-being and I want to make a difference in their lives-especially those who feel unseen or misunderstood.
Making a client feel heard and understood requires both skill and genuine presence. I will give clients my full attention, listening to understand, not to fix. During our work together: I like to respond by validating their experience, acknowledging the emotional weight, create safety and connection and reinforce my presence and support. I like to create an environment of warmth, validation, and empathy.
At the start of our work together, building rapport is very crucial. This means creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and not judged. In the beginning, we’ll focus on building trust, at your pace, because the relationship between us is one of the most important parts of therapy. I’ll take time to get to know you–what matters to you, what you’ve been through, and what you’re hoping to change or understand better. Along the way, I’ll check in with you often to make sure this feels helpful and that we’re on the same page. I want this to be a space where you can be fully yourself even if that means being unsure, guarded, or not knowing where to start. That’s all ok. My role is to come alongside you, not to fix you, but support your growth, healing, and clarity.
