Therapy is like having a co-pilot for life’s road trip. You’re steering the car, but I’m here to help with the directions, remind you to take a break, help make sense of the detours, and no judgement if you hit a few curbs along the way. I like to provide a safe space where you can untangle your thoughts, reflect honestly, and start to trust yourself more fully as I understand how complex life can be. I understand how pressures in life can impact our sense of self and well-being, and how important it is to have support when navigating it.
I like to create a space where it feels collaborative. I will listen to not only what you share during session but also ask how you’re feeling during the process. I will also ask further questions and reflect back what you share to make sure I am understanding your experience correctly. Trust and a therapeutic alliance with take time to build in each session. We will practice building trust with honesty and by collaborate together. I will continue to check in with you throughout the process, and respect your space to make you feel comfortable. In this dynamic you are the driver and I am in the passenger seat, we are collaborating together at your pace and with what you feel comfortable with.
