I became a therapist because I want to create a space for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or worried to express themselves without feeling criticized. My goal is to provide time where you can voice your feelings and know that this will be a judgment free zone.

I encourage my clients to see therapy as a collaborative relationship by creating goals that best fit their wants and needs. I have always said that therapy is like trying on a pair of pants, in one store you will fit into a size and at another store, you will be a completely different size. Therapy allows a collaborative relationship to make sure that the client has “the right size of pants” for their wants/needs and to have the safe space to voice the need for a “different size”.

I often use humor and metaphors throughout virtual sessions to create trust and to have the client feel welcomed. I provide the client time and space to open up about difficult subjects or experiences without having the feeling of being pressured or judged.

I am a huge advocate about finding time to create peace for oneself, even if it is for a few minutes per day. I always try to find time for myself to read or spend sometime outdoors to help decompress from everyday stress.

All therapy providers at Foresight have specialized experience in treating a wide range of common mental health conditions, including but not limited to a wide range of common mental health and life concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and daily coping needs. In addition, my areas of focus are as follows: Addiction – Substance & Non Substance, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Gender Identity & Gender Affirming Care, Grief & Loss, LGBTQIQ2s+ Support, Multicultural, Diversity & Racial Identity Support, Suicidal Ideation & Non Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI), and Trauma & PTSD
