How ADHD Testing Works at Foresight
Foresight offers ADHD testing as part of a broader psychiatric evaluation and care-planning process. Your provider will first take time to understand your symptoms, history, daily functioning, and any other factors that may be affecting attention, motivation, organization, or impulsivity.
If clinically appropriate, your provider may recommend the Integrated Visual and Auditory Continuous Performance Test, Version 2 (IVA-2 CPT). This computer-based test measures attention and response patterns, providing providers with objective information to support diagnostic decision-making.
The IVA-2 CPT is available for a self-pay rate of $200 and is not billable through insurance. Related services, such as your psychiatric evaluation, follow-up appointments, and medication management, may be covered by insurance depending on your plan. IVA-2 CPT testing is not intended to replace a full neuropsychological evaluation. Instead, it can provide additional information that helps psychiatric providers better understand whether ADHD may be contributing to your symptoms and what kind of care plan may be appropriate.
For Individuals Seeking ADHD Testing
If you or a loved one is seeking clarity around attention-related challenges, our ADHD testing process can help. At Foresight, testing begins with a consultation with one of our psychiatric providers, who will assess your needs and determine whether IVA-2 CPT testing is appropriate for your situation.
Adults aged 18 and older are required to undergo virtual testing or other approved neuropsychological testing before being prescribed stimulant medication. For children and adolescents, ADHD testing is optional unless a provider determines that diagnostic clarity is needed.
Test results do not guarantee any particular treatment. They provide valuable information to help providers develop individualized treatment plans.

We welcome ADHD testing referrals from outside providers and value the opportunity to collaborate in supporting your patients’ care. The IVA-2 CPT can provide structured data to support diagnostic clarity and treatment planning when ADHD is being considered.
