I’ve always been drawn to understanding how people experience and make sense of their emotions, relationships, and life challenges. Over time, I saw how powerful it is when someone—whether it’s a child, an individual, or a couple—has a space where they feel truly heard and supported. I’ve also been deeply inspired by the resilience people show, especially in the face of trauma and relational difficulties. That led me to pursue work not only with individuals, but also with children, couples, and families, where I can support healing both within the person and within their relationships. My interest in trauma work also led me to train in EMDR, which I’ve found to be a really effective way to help clients process and move through difficult experiences.

For me, that starts with meeting you where you are. I approach each session with curiosity, empathy, and without judgment. Whether I’m working with you individually, with your partner, or as a family, I focus on understanding each person’s perspective and experience. I’ll check in often to make sure I’m getting it right and give you space to clarify or correct me if needed.

When it’s appropriate, I may also integrate EMDR or other approaches to help you process experiences on a deeper level—but always at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. My goal is for you to feel not just listened to, but genuinely understood.

In the beginning, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and understanding what’s bringing you in—whether that’s something you’re navigating individually, as a couple, or within your family. We’ll talk about your goals and what feels most important to focus on.

From there, our work becomes a collaborative process. With children and families, that might include building skills, strengthening communication, and supporting emotional regulation. With couples, it often involves understanding patterns in the relationship and creating new ways of connecting. With individuals, including through EMDR, we may work on processing past experiences that are still impacting you in the present.
Building trust is something I take seriously—it develops through consistency, transparency, and respect. I’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, check in regularly about how the work is feeling, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore difficult things, while also feeling empowered to grow and make meaningful changes.

I believe that taking care of myself is an essential part of showing up fully for my clients. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, slowing down, and practicing self-care in ways that help me stay grounded and present. Whether it’s getting outside, recharging, or simply creating space to breathe, I value the balance that allows me to bring empathy, focus, and authenticity into the therapy room. I strive to model the importance of caring for ourselves so we can better care for others.
