I have been a Registered Nurse since 2017, with a clinical background in medical-surgical and emergency care before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This experience allows me to consider both the physical and emotional factors that can impact mental health. I provide psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan and have experience treating a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. I strive to provide compassionate, individualized care while creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients of all ages feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment.

My passion for mental health care comes from both personal and professional experience. At different points in my life, I have had the opportunity to understand mental health care from both sides of the table, which has deeply shaped the way I practice today. Those experiences taught me the importance of feeling heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Throughout my career, I have also witnessed firsthand the challenges individuals and families can face when navigating their mental health. These experiences allow me to bring genuine empathy, compassion, and understanding into each patient interaction while creating a space where patients feel comfortable being open about their needs and actively participating in their care.

My treatment approach is collaborative, supportive, and straightforward. I believe in setting realistic expectations and having open, honest conversations about treatment, including both the potential benefits and limitations of different options. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each patient to explore available treatment options and develop a plan that feels appropriate for their individual needs, goals, and comfort level. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable being open with me, asking questions, and expressing concerns. Ultimately, I want my patients to feel heard, informed, and actively involved in their care as we work together toward the best possible outcome.

Outside of work, one of my favorite hobbies is gardening. I find it to be a great way to slow down, decompress, and practice mindfulness—especially during stressful or anxious moments. I enjoy sharing practical relaxation and grounding techniques with my patients, and gardening is one of the ways I incorporate those same principles into my own life. I believe that sometimes the simplest activities can make a meaningful difference in our overall well-being.
