Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in California
Foresight’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for people who need more support than traditional weekly outpatient therapy, but do not need inpatient hospitalization. Clients can receive structured care while staying connected to work, school, family, and daily life. With virtual options in California, IOP provides a supportive, skills-based treatment experience that helps clients build stability, strengthen coping tools, and move toward long-term recovery.
What Is an Intensive Outpatient Program?
An intensive outpatient program is a structured level of mental health care for people who need consistent support without an overnight stay. IOP offers a higher frequency of treatment than weekly therapy and can be a helpful next step when symptoms are making daily life harder to manage.
At Foresight, IOP combines group support, clinical guidance, and evidence-based care in a format that allows clients to continue living at home and maintain important responsibilities whenever possible.

- Want to build coping skills in a supportive community
- Feel overwhelmed by symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, or disconnection
